Dividend Growth News of the Week

The Walt Disney Company (DIS) declared an annual cash dividend of $1.15 per share, up 34 percent, or $0.29 per share, from the previous year. The dividend is payable on January 8, 2015 to shareholders of record at the close of business on December 15, 2014.

The Toronto-Dominion Bank announced that a dividend in an amount of forty-seven per fully paid common share in the capital stock of the Bank has been declared for the quarter ending January 31, 2015, payable on and after January 31, 2015, to shareholders of record at the close of business on January 6, 2015.

Corning (GLW) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.12 per share, a 20% increase in the company’s quarterly common stock dividend. The 2015 first-quarter dividend is payable on March 31, 2015, to shareholders of record on Feb. 27, 2015.

Stryker Corporation (SYK) has increased its dividend 13% by declaring a quarterly dividend of $0.345 per share payable on January 30, 2015, to shareholders of record at the close of business on December 31, 2014.

Microsoft declared a quarterly dividend of $0.31 per share. The dividend is payable March 12, 2015, to shareholders of record on Feb. 19, 2015. The ex-dividend date will be Feb. 17, 2015.

Verizon Communications (VZ) declared a quarterly dividend of 55 cents per outstanding share, unchanged from the previous quarter. The dividend is payable on Feb. 2, 2015, to Verizon Communications shareowners of record at the close of business on Jan. 9, 2015.

General Dynamics (GD) declared a regular quarterly dividend of 62 cents per share on the company’s common stock, payable February 6, 2015, to shareholders of record on January 16.


And, Hess Corporation (HES) declared a regular quarterly dividend of 25 cents per share payable on the Common Stock of the Corporation on December 31, 2014 to holders of record at the close of business on December 17, 2014.
